Let's review our existing schedules and see if this is possible. The fee for early collection from 9:00 am is €100 and from 6:00 pm is €50. Before 9 am and after 9 pm it is 70€.
You must notify us as soon as you learn of the delay. If your arrival is sold out within our office hours, the relevant fees will apply. If you do not notify us of any delay, a €50 fee will be charged for the team's waiting time.
Normal collections are from 2 pm to 6 pm. Caravans must be returned between 9:00 and 12:00. Returns after 12:00 pm are subject to availability and will incur an additional one-day rental fee.
You must have your driving license for at least 3 years
The security deposit depends on the accident damage waiver option you choose. The maximum deposit that is saved on your card if you do not receive any additional coverage is €2000. The cardholder's name must be on the booking agreement.
Security deposits are released approximately one week after delivery of your caravan. It may take longer if you need to wait for a toll update or damage repair quote.
Classic models (only allowed within the Algarve) have a limit of 100 km/day. Extra km are charged at a rate of €0.85/km.
If the same happens, in the event of a breakdown, we reserve the right to charge the trip and withdraw the security deposit for abusive use. If it is not possible for us to move, we will be happy to find help in the vicinity, with repairs being your responsibility, as it is outside our area of operation and partners.
If you are unlucky enough to receive parking tickets, we will be happy to help pay them on your behalf. We charge a €50 fee for fines within Portugal, for the administration time involved. For any speeding violations we are required to hand over the drivers details and we also charge an administration fee of €50.
Yup. We keep our prices as low as possible, minimizing the time spent delivering the van to subsequent customers. If the van is returned dirty, we will charge a cleaning fee of €100 for all T4 and T5 models and classics. All reserved extras should also be cleaned, ie surfboards, bicycles, etc. Portable toilets must be returned empty with no signs of usage or a € 50 cleaning fee will be applied (non-negotiable).
The caravan must be returned washed, swept, with clean surfaces, the toilet emptied and the fuel filled.
We have a team that is on duty from 9 am to 6 pm. We'll evaluate the issue over the phone and if we think it's an easy fix, we'll send one of our collaborators. If it is a major problem, the vehicle must return to base. If necessary, we will exchange for another vehicle if one is available and suitable for your trip. If not, we will provide you with accommodation until the repairs are complete.
*In the event of a breakdown and the vehicle in question runs out of fuel, it will be refueled and the amount will be charged in order to respect the level of delivery.
We've changed our cancellation policy to be more flexible during these uncertain times so you can book with peace of mind. If you are unable or unwilling to embark on your adventure with Vintage for whatever reason, we offer the following options: You can book for a future date up to 1 year after the cancellation date. Use for your new trip is subject to availability. If you still do not know your new travel dates, a voucher will be issued for your original, single-use booking. When you have your new dates, contact us and we will work out the details. If you wish to cancel without a reservation, cancellation fees apply.
If you cancel more than 60 days in advance of your scheduled pick-up time, you will receive a 100% refund.
If you cancel 48 hours before the pick-up time of the scheduled pick-up time: 50% of the booking deposit will be deducted (cancellation fee) or you can choose a flexible travel voucher corresponding to 100% of the total amount already paid (valid up to 1 year after the cancellation date)
If you cancel less than 48 hours in advance of your scheduled pick-up time: 100% of the rental price will be deducted and retained.
The price includes a main driver.
All our caravans accommodate 2 people except our T4 and T5 which are our replacement vehicles.
Yes, we provide 1 duvet and 1 sheet for 1 of the beds. Cushions are included for everyone.
Yes, all our vans have USB ports. They also have a socket for 240v appliances. The 240v sockets will only work when the vans are plugged in at the campsites.
Our Classic vans have 12v dometic compressor refrigerators. They are all powered by the auxiliary battery and the power supply when the van is charging with the cable at the campsites.
In Classic models there is an auxiliary battery that is responsible for the operation of all the motorhome equipment. The refrigerator uses most of the energy from this battery. With energy-powered vans, we reduce the risk of battery failure, however, the fridge and the auxiliary battery will only have enough energy to last for about 2 days. The fridge will be cut to 10v but will still have lights as these are LED. If you do not want to charge the battery at the campsite.
Of course yes. We install a 2-burner gas stove in all vans. We also provide a bottle of gas. We don't like to waste gas that is not used, so if the gas runs out, you can easily change the cylinder at all campsites. If you ask for an invoice with our company details, we can refund you.

We charge an extra fee of €55. This is to ensure the van is clean and perfect for the next customer.
